The difference between laziness and relaxation you ask? If I relax for too long I feel lazy, unless i’m reading manga. Same with Lizzy, unless she’s playing Skyrim. On the contrary, If i’m doomscrolling, after a half hour, I feel like shite. So I guess it really is just that damn phone. Anyway, It’s been snowy here, got about three feet, so we’ve been stuck inside doing nothing. And for me it’s felt really good. I normally play a lot of volleyball, so being horizontal for a couple days in a row can be really healing, but Lizzy is getting a little stir crazy.

Both of us have always lived in an apartment, and almost exclusively in large apartment complexes. Last year we moved to into a three story house living on the third floor. We love it. One new tid bit is that the landlord will pay us for shoveling the walkways and porch. Since we lived in large apartment buildings, neither of us really had to shovel since we were kids. But now we’re shoveling like crazy. Lizzy is out there pushing around snow just for fun. She pretty much cleared out a 10th of the public lot we’re parked in on her own. Goes to show you never stop learning new things about your partner, even after years of being together, which is really nice to think about.
